We crossed over to London to film a new Customer story. We we’re guests at the Go Cardless office for 1,5 days, shooting interviews, office tours, and lots of B-roll

To set the stage we spent another half day, buzzing around the city to capture some of the most iconic landmarks the city has to offer. We even traveled (only two stops) with Jamie, our main character on his commute home.

Voor de waddenvereniging maak ik in wisselende teams content. Bijvoorbeeld voor het project ‘Riffen vol Reuring’. Daarvoor maakte ik een animatie die het project uitlegt aan het grotere publiek, maar waarmee ook fondsen kunnen worden geworven.

Samen met Koen Moons volgen we het project in een langere periode, met korte update video’s. Zoals bijvoorbeeld de constructie van het kunstrif bij het bedrijf Coastruction in Rotterdam

I approached this assignment with a lot of research. I spent time in care homes to better understand the daily reality of residents and caregivers. These conversations helped to generate a docu-style approach to the script.

With one-and-a-half filming day and night, I had the right content to give the final film a warm, honest montage.

We used one day to shoot this. Brought in lots of lights and power generator but in the end used mainly the sun and reflection as our light-source.

This was only the pilot episode. In the upcoming year we’ll be traveling abroad to give the floor to other Workplace leaders.

There is exactly one night between the moment the exhibition is ready, and the moment it opens to the public. That’s the timewindow I operate in. I use the second and third day to pick up shots of people interacting with the exhibition

Practise what you preach. We decided to do all the dynamic shots from a Family model Urban Arrow. We did elaborate tests and planned the shots so that we had a nice mixture of stylised yet realistic shots.

Besides 4 individual 30 second videos of each model, we also produced a 60 second version of all 4 bikes. To separate them we added contrast in direction, camera-style, actor and wardrobe.
